Be Brave. Be Strong. Don’t Give Up!

Courage is defined as the ability to do something that frightens one, or strength in the face of pain or grief. It’s doing something in spite of fear. Doing it afraid.

Courage and bravery seem to work together. Having someone tell you “Just be brave” or “Use your courage” isn’t enough. No one is fearless. Bravery and courage require feeling your fears, but taking steps to work through them.

I’m reminded of a story Bridgett told me, and was given her blessing to share it with you. When she was a senior in high school, she had the privilege of being chosen to be a part of the Presidential Classroom.
